Every approved vend lands in Dryline tied to the product in that slot, and the reader’s DEX reads feed reconciliation automatically, so sales, restocks, and the ledger all agree.

The reader, answered
- Is my machine compatible?
- Almost certainly. Most vending machines built in the last couple of decades support MDB cashless, and the reader connects through the DejaUP MDB interface alongside the coin and bill acceptors already installed. The only machines it cannot serve are ones that do not support MDB cashless, which have no retrofit.
- What is included with the reader?
- The reader itself, a SIM for cellular connectivity, Rain Pay card processing, and DrylineVMS Core for that machine at $14.95 per month, which is added to the order automatically. There is no activation fee and no contract.
- Can I use my own payment processor?
- No. Rain Pay processing is part of the solution: it is what ties every card vend to the product in the slot and feeds reconciliation. The rate is flat and quoted with your order.
- Does the reader replace my coin mech or bill validator?
- No. It adds cashless alongside them over the same MDB bus, so the machine keeps taking coins and bills exactly as before.
- How does the reader feed Dryline?
- Every approved card vend arrives in Dryline tied to the selection and the product behind it, and the reader’s DEX reads arrive automatically for reconciliation. Sales, restocks, and reconciliation all use the same records.
